Hi folks,
We got a show next Saturday night at NORTH SIX in Williamsburg . So, all you Brooklyn people who never come have no excuse, other than the siren festival, which would be a good excuse if there were any good bands at it this year. However, there aren't really so we're gonna tell you why you should see us instead:
First off, the siren festival is 800 degrees and 900 miles away. Add that up and it makes 1700 reasons not to go. Plus, here is the projected forecast, taken from weather.com: "800 degrees with a 99% chance of sweaty, drunk frat dudes in your face." That doesn't sound good. Not one bit. Anyway, because we love you and want you to make an educated decision about which to go to, we are providing a rundown of the bands for your benefit. here it goes:
scissor sisters- isn't this the band that had that early 90's hit "stay" with that weird goth video? "you better hope and pray that you make it safe back to your own world"??? if its them, I'm so there!!! oh, wait, that was Shakespeare's Sister. forget it
she wants revenge- but i want them to stop whining and rippping off interpol.
stars- their only good song is a smiths cover that they dont even play anymore.
art brut- like a straight scissor sisters (read: not as good as Shakespeare's sister)
the stills - dont know the difference between them or the thrills or the kills, or the cribs even. im not sure they know either.

Murder Mystery - fuckin great lookin and dumb as a rock. what a combo.

PS: If you think we are bitter about not being asked to play a big festival then you can suck it cause Stephon Marbury ain't on the bill either and he is from Coney Island.
